Plymouth College of Art BA (Hons) Fashion Show 2014 Branding

My final major project, branding the BA (hons) Fashion Show 2014, shows my strong interest in designing for the fashion industry, whilst displaying a mixture of creativity and technical ability.

The main challenge I identified was how to present 25 different students, with different styles, in a coherent look book, with accompanying promotional material.

I devised three strong visual themes as a solution. The first being line art used as a pattern representing fabric, the second being a mirrored layout symbolic of how fashion relies on mirrors to check appearance, and lastly, a glitch effect was used to interpret informal data (age, dates etc.) as art.

To accompany the print work, I also created a series of stop motion movies, made with over 1000 still images.

- Look book / 1,000 copies
- A2 Poster (concept)
- Invitation Card (concept)
- Stop motion movies
